Red panda status in Nepal

The status of Red pandas in Nepal is unsure. Two Red Panda Network members, PB Yonzon and Sharada Jnawali, Collected different satistics in 2012. PB Yonzon estimated about 314 individual Red pandas in Nepal, while Sharada Jnawali estimated about 237 and 1061 Red pandas.

The Red pandas in Nepal are suffering gastrointestinal parasites, with 3 types of Nematode. Not good.
